Meet the special animals who have problems which mean they are unable to be re-homed, but are in the care of Pet Welfare for the rest of their lives.

Here are details of 2 of our animals, but we do have a lot more. Please contact us if you want to know more about sponsoring.

Samson is a beautiful boy who came into our care aged 5, 7 years ago. He was obviously in a lot of pain and was diagnosed with spondylosis. Though the vet recommended he be put to sleep, we refused. He was given painkillers at first, but has since received natural treatments and lives his life to the full.He wears a magnetic collar and sleeps on a magnetic bed. He has aloe vera juice and cod liver oil  daily and is enjoying his life to the full.

Samson is now 12 this year

Lily was handed over to us as a stray rabbit. She is severely disabled as her back leg is at right      angles to her body.At some time she must have dislocated her leg and due to the fact it was left untreated, her leg has repaired at the wrong angle. She has to be closely monitored, but at present she is coping well, but may need surgery in the future.
